The Bibliographic Database

The database RCDCbib is a comprehensive bibliographic information source for radiation chemistry. Emphasis is on kinetic and other properties of transient radicals and excited states. RCDCbib contains bibliographic references for all of the data that has been reviewed and compiled into the several data products of the RCDC. In 1977 the scope was enlarged to include quantitative photochemistry. Over the years the relative volume of photochemistry related literature in the database has increased substantially. The size of the database approximately reflects this growth (from about 14,000 references in 1970 to over 160,000 currently) over time.

SUBJECT COVERAGE: Includes radiation chemistry and photochemistry related information on:

* radicals * transients * excited states * theory * luminescence * environmental applications * esr spectra * biological applications * optical spectra * industrial applications * photophysical processes * polymers and polymerization * solution kinetics * solar energy conversion *

SIZE: 162,645 references as of January 2000

INCLUSIVE DATES: 1966 to present, with some earlier citations since 1899
