The Radiation Chemistry Data Center

The Radiation Chemistry Data Center (RCDC) is a focal point for the compilation and evaluation of kinetic, spectroscopic and thermodynamic data for processes in solution involving reactive intermediates, including free radicals and excited states. These data are primarily derived from the published literature on radiation chemistry and quantitative aspects of photochemistry. Data from the compilations is also made available as a database for PCs and for searching online via the World Wide Web.

In addition to the critical compilation activities in radiation chemistry and photochemistry we also maintain a substantial bibliographic database in support of the data work. The database is available for browsing new additions and retrospective searching online via the World Wide Web.

The RCDC was established at the Notre Dame Radiation Laboratory in 1965, as part of the National Standard Reference Data System. We are funded by the United States Department of Energy (Office of Basic Energy Sciences).
